Cari McCann serves as the Executive Director of Great River Homes, Inc., bringing more than two decades of experience in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and strengthening community-based services. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Social Studies, a foundation that has shaped her lifelong commitment to learning, advocacy, and person-centered support.

Cari began her career in 2001 at Home and Community Options, Inc., where she started as a Part-Time Counselor. Over the years, she advanced through numerous roles within the organization, gaining extensive experience from industry leaders in direct support, program operations, leadership, and team development. Her broad background and deep understanding of service delivery prepared her for the next step in her journey.

In 2018, Cari and her family relocated to Wabasha MN and she joined the Great River Homes, Inc. team. As Executive Director, she is dedicated to fostering a collaborative culture, enhancing service quality, and ensuring individuals supported by Great River Homes, Inc. have opportunities to grow, participate fully in their communities, and live their best lives. Cari continues to lead with compassion, integrity, and a strong belief in empowering others.
